Allana Ferguson bio
Allana first represented Australia in Rugby Sevens back in 2013. Following numerous knee injuries throughout time, Allana switched to rugby union. Allana played in her first union rugby game for women played in New South Wales and was the star of the game against Queensland. Allana is also adding radio to her repertoire regularly appearing on the most popular Continuous Call Team on 2GB. Outside of sport Allana is also a certified instructor. Allana Ferguson enjoys the rare honor of having represented Australia at three sporting events - Rugby Sevens as well as Rugby League and Touch. Allana Ferguson, a Jillaroos football player who was in an extensive period of rugby league, has had to end her career early due to her tearing her ACL four times. The 25-year-old had previously torn the ligament at the same knee when she was between the ages of 15 and 17 and after a fourth tear it meant Ferguson's time was up. Ferguson, JILLAROOS playmaker and fourth year ACL injury victim, was forced to leave earlier. Ferguson told The Courier Mail that she suffered the injury during training in November. Ferguson has been the face of women's Rugby League over the course of several seasons.
